Selection Process
The selection process set by SSC GD Constable recruitment consist of various stages -go through following stages to check selection process:
- Computer-Based Test The first stage will be online objective test comprising 80 questions from four sections – General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English or Hindi with The total marks are 160 of duration 60 minutes and a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer given.
- Physical Efficiency Test where Candidates who clear the CBT are called for the PET to check physical endurance through a race as Male candidates must run 5 km in 24 minutes and female candidates must complete 1 km 600 meters in 8 minutes and 30 minutes.
- Physical Standard Test will be Conducted alongside the PET and this test verifies if candidates meet the required physical standards – minimum height is 170 cm and the chest measurement must be 80 cm and For female candidates in the General category minimum height is 157 cm.
- Detailed Medical Examination where candidates will go under vision, hearing, physical deformities and overall fitness.
- Document Verification will be final stage which involves verifying the authenticity of original documents submitted by the candidate, such as educational certificates, proof of date of birth, caste or category certificates and domicile certificates for verification.
