Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria set by MNLU for 21 vacancies in law and allied disciplines under recruitment for year 2025 is as follows:

  1. 1. For Professor of Law candidate must possess Ph.D. degree in the concerned or relevant discipline with A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university or college as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor or Professor along with high-quality published research with a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals along with Successful guidance of doctoral candidates or significant professional contributions for those from industry backgrounds .
  2. Those candidates which are willing to apply for Associate Professor of Law should be A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/relevant disciplines with Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks along with minimum of eight years of teaching/research experience in an academic position equivalent to Assistant Professor and Minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals .
  3. Candidate applying for Assistant Professor Positions should possess Master’s degree with 55% marks in a concerned or relevant subject from an Indian or accredited foreign university with Cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC or CSIR or accredited tests like SLET or SET along with Ph.D. degree holders are exempt from NET requirements, provided they meet specific conditions including thesis evaluation by two examiners, open viva voce, publication of two research papers, and presentation of two conference papers .
  4. For posts of Sociology, Economics, and English vacancies a Master’s qualification requirements apply with necessary specializations in respective subjects .
